Reviewing the preparations for the G-20 meetings here, the chief minister said apart from member countries, representatives of the invited nations will also participate in these meetings that will held on May 25-28 and June 28-30. During this time, representatives of G-20 countries will participate in the Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh and through it will also get to know the religious and cultural importance of Ganga. Uttarakhand was earlier assigned to host two meetings related to the G-20 Summit by the Central government. These meetings were scheduled to be held from May 25 to 27 and from June 26 to 28 in Narendra Nagar. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had requested the Centre to hand over the responsibility of one of the two meetings to the Kumaon division. "Taking cognizance of this, the Centre has decided to give Uttarakhand the responsibility of the third G-20 meeting," Suman told this newspaper. Ajay K Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Central government, has written a letter to Chief Secretary Dr SS Sandhu in this regard, informing him about the third meeting titled G-20 CSAR (Chief Science Advisor Round Table) being assigned to Uttarakhand.

In view of the proposed G-20 conference from March 28, 2023 to March 30, 2023, during the visit of VIP / VVIP dignitaries, the traffic plan of Ramnagar-Kaladhungi city will remain as follows.
🔷 There will be no parking zone from Kosi Barrage till Taj Resort via Lakhanpur. No vehicle of any kind shall be parked on either side of the road.
🔷 Date 28.29.30 March, 2023 from 08:00 am to 10.00 pm only during day time V.I.P. Traffic of heavy vehicles will be completely restricted till Route Kosi Barrage, Lakhanpur, Amdada, Garjia Ramnagar. On the said date, the movement of heavy vehicles will be only from 10.00 pm to 06.00 am.
🔷 V.I.P. From 28-3-2023 to 30-3-2023, only vehicles of essential commodities (such as petrol/diesel, milk, gas and ambulance) will operate on the route. But V.I.P. It will be made completely zero zone at the time of tour/movement.
🔷 V.I.P. During the movement / visit, VIP Route New Village Tiraha, Kotabagh Tiraha, Bailpadav Tiraha, Hanumandham Chhoi Tiraha, New Kosi Bridge East End Patkot Tiraha, Kosi Barrage Tiraha, Lakhanpur Chauraha, in front of Garjia Chowki and Shivlalpur Chungi and Chorpani Tiraha.
